K\u00e4rnten L\u00e4uft 2026 – classic run with a backdrop of Lake W\u00f6rthersee<\/h3>\n

K\u00e4rnten L\u00e4uft<\/span><\/span><\/strong> is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and continues to be one of the main events on the Austrian running calendar. From 28 to 30 August, sporting challenges, perfect organization and that special blend of southern flair and Alpine scenery come together around Lake W\u00f6rthersee.<\/p>\n

Competitions for every level<\/h4>\n

K\u00e4rnten L\u00e4uft is once again offering a broad program in 2026: in addition to the W\u00f6rthersee Half Marathon on Sunday, 30 August, there is also a quarter marathon and other races over shorter distances, from the Night Run to the Women’s Run and Ladies Walk to the Junior Marathon and a children’s run and even a dog run. The routes are known for their flat profile and are considered to be fast – ideal for anyone who wants to aim for their best time or simply run at a relaxed pace.<\/p>\n

Run & Experience<\/h4>\n

K\u00e4rnten L\u00e4uft is more than just a competition. The running weekend is accompanied by an expo, pasta parties, side events and a rousing atmosphere along the route. Spectators, accompanying persons and fans provide a real goosebump feeling – especially in the start and finish area. The W\u00f6rthersee Half Marathon starts at the Schlosshotel in Velden. Smooth running, short distances before and after the race and a compact event structure with refreshments right by the lake are guaranteed.<\/p>\n
