On September 5 and 6, 2025, Lake Wörthersee will once again be the stage for one of the most beautiful open water events in the country: the Wörthersee Swim. Hundreds of swimmers from Austria and abroad will take part in the competitions – in one of the most impressive settings Carinthia has to offer.

As usual, the start is at the Maiernigg lido in Klagenfurt – a popular meeting point for active sports enthusiasts and lovers of Lake Wörthersee. From there, the route leads through crystal-clear water with a unique panorama.
